Nobody prepared you for this part

Not the cancelled plans. Not the medical admin. Not the friends who don't get it. Not the grief of missing who you used to be.

Being sick in secret is its own kind of exhausting and people around you just don't get it.

Psst. is where sick women share everything they wish someone had told them sooner.

Meet your match

Your friends don't get it. Your doctors don't have enough time. Online groups lack real connection. So you continue feeling so lost and alone in all of this.

The loneliness is over - you can opt in every month, and get matched with someone who knows exactly what this life feels like - because they're living it too.

✅ Match on condition + interests
✅ Meet online or in person, that part's up to you.
✅ We handle the awkward intro so you don't have to.

What happens next is yours.

Real words from a Real match.

"Without meeting her I would have felt more alone than ever. For the first time I was talking to someone who didn't need me to explain it - she already knew. It felt like finally being able to exhale."
Chantel - Type 1 diabetes + end-stage kidney failure, waiting on a transplant.

Networks for founders. Groups for runners. Clubs for mothers. Nothing for us. So we built it.

Chronic illness touches every part of your life - your career, your relationships, your identity, your finances. Nobody built anything for that. Until now.

The first matches are being made. The first events are being planned. The first issues of The Edit are landing. Join now and you'll be part of what this becomes.

Wear the inside jokes only we know.
Fund something important.

Our merch says the things sick women are thinking but are occasionally too polite to put on a t-shirt. Plus every purchase helps fund women's health charities.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an official diagnosis to join?

Absolutely not. We know first hand how hard it can be to just get diagnosed. If your body is making your life harder and nobody has given you a satisfying answer yet, you're exactly who we built this for.

I have multiple conditions - can you still help?

We struggled with other groups because they were so specific when often one condition gives you another - that's why we made our community condition agnostic. Bring one diagnosis or bring many - no judgement, full support here.

Surely this isn't free?

It really is. No subscription. No hidden tier. No premium plan you'll accidentally sign up for. Free to join, free to stay, free to leave. Online events are free. We will do our best to cover off the cost of other events via sponsors BUT we may need to charge time to time and if we do we'll let you know. This community is self funded, self backed and made free because the cost of being sick is big enough.

What if I can't make an event last minute?

Cancelled plans are a part of being chronically ill - we don't penalise you for having a body that won't play by the rules. No penalty for not showing up - ever.

Is this only for Australians?

Events are in Australia for now. Everything else - the community, the content, the matching - is open to anyone who needs it. Want to be an ambassador overseas for us? Get in touch.

How is this different to a Facebook group?

I built this because Facebook groups (for the most part) sucked. We have strict guidelines on posting, no trolling, no bullying and zero misinformation tolerated. Just a community built specifically for this, run by women living it.

What's the merch?

Wearable inside jokes for women who are done hiding. Things sick women think but are occasionally too polite to say out loud. 10% of every purchase funds women's health research. Worth it. This helps us keep offering this service free too so we appreciate the support!

How does the matching actually work?

You sign up once and then choose to opt in each month. Join once or join every month - we match you on condition, location, what you're looking for - and send a warm introduction to both of you. No algorithm. No awkward cold outreach. Just two people who needed to find each other.

What happens at a Sunday Rest Club?

We're the sick baddies version of run club - sans the 5am wake up call and well conditioned body. Coffee. Conversation. Meet women who are going through what you're going through.

Can I unsubscribe if it's not for me?

You can opt out and leave us at anytime. Before you go we'd love you to tell us why :)

Ok, you convinced me - I'm in ➜
